Google has now come back with two new ‘super’ phones – Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Out of the two, the Google Pixel 2 XL apple is the challenger for iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Pixel 2 XL is also Google’s most expensive smartphone, which starts at Rs 73,000 for the original unit and reaches up to Rs 82,000 for the top-end version. But not everything is perfect but Pixel 2 XL device might be sometimes occurring facing issues regarding the OLED screen burn-in, though there is something we have not seen in our review unit. Pixel 2 XL is essentially Google’s Showcase device with the claim of “best camera” on Android smartphones. It is without adding a double-rear camera setup, unlike its competitors.
Google Pixel 2 XL Display:
Google Pixel 2 XL’s 6-inch P-OLED display is manufactured by LG. 6-inch LG-built P-OLED panel has a QHD + (2,880 x 1,440) offers resolution and 18: 9 aspect ratio. Google pixel 2 XL Execution:
The call of this device is very well. The fingerprint scanner which is placed on the back work very rapidly, the stereo speaker is also enough to watch videos and movies on a 6-inch screen, but by any means, I think they lack the bass. Pixel 2 XL -Snapdragon Qualcomm 835 SoC, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage with a high-end smartphone on board. Pixel 2 XL is also available with 128 GB of storage. Given the specifications it offers, the phone felt powerful and smooth in day-to-day operations. This is the fastest Android phone I have ever used. It can easily handle graphics during an intense gaming session, the phone is cool However, it does heat while charging.
Google Pixel 2 XL Software:
Google Pixel 2 XL– Android 8.0 is running the latest version of Oreo Out-of The-Box, which makes the overall experience the best. This is a ‘stock Android’ device. Pixel Launcher has been found on the home screen, which makes finding results easy. Generally, Android Oreo brings a new number of new features like new notification channels, a new settings menu, improved battery performance and photo-in-picture mode. Another example is the Google lens, which is an extension of Google Goggles, it identifies the object of the camera, whether it is a historical or poster, at this time, the feature is supported in the Photos app on pixel 2 and pixel 2 XL.
Google Pixel 2 XL Verdict:
This device did not give any other reason for any other Android device. A camera is another area where Google has demonstrated its potential in the software department. Still, it is difficult to recommend a price of 73,000 for Google Pixel 2 XL for 64 pixels. For many users, this can be too much for those phones that feel incomplete.
