Google Plus

At the Google I/O 2018, Google told its users about a great many things coming to many different products. Users have been waiting for a while now to see some changes in the company’s social network Google Plus. Now it seems that the wait is over for its users and there is actually something to look forward to. Google+ is a social network platform developed and owned by Google. The social network platform was launched on June 28, 2011. It allows the users to post photos and status updates to the stream or interest-based communities, group different types of relationships into Circles. It also includes a multi-person instant messaging, text and video chat called Hangouts. The service also allows users to upload their photos to private cloud-based albums.

Whats new updates in Google Plus:

It looks like the European Union’s GDPR is prompting Google to update its privacy policy for all. A major update for the app is regarding the privacy policy. Now users will see a new link to Manage Web & App Activity in the Privacy Section of the Accounts Settings. The link will open Google’s Activity controls page in a web view. the new update will finally expand the options for text formatting in the service. Now according to some reports, there is a new toolbar with nine different settings. these settings can be used to color, shape, decorate, or adjust the position of the text. The formatting of any text will be done with buttons, which is just like formatting in a normal text editor.

It seems like that Google is trying hard to make its social media network more competitive with others. There has been a big drop in activity of users for Google plus as even many die-hard Google users eventually abandoned their feeds. But now with these sets of new updates, Google is making it hard for others to write it off.
