Google which is the Alphabet Inc.’s has taken a decision to change all of its policies in the next month which would put a stop on advertisement for spyware and different other unauthorized tracking technologies.

As per the statement of one of the officials from the company, it has been stated that the change will prohibit the advertisement or promotion of products which are marketed or aim at tracking or monitoring the steps of another individual or their activities without their concern.

The ads for such products have been violating the Google’s Enabling Dishonest Behavior policy, the change in policy will make the ban on tracking of technology explicit and lead to hike in enforcement as per the company spokeswoman.

According to Google, the policy would prohibit the advertisements of spyware and malware which can be used to monitor phone calls or texts, or browsing history. Ads for GPS trackers will also be banned, especially those which are marketed to spy or track someone without their permission and ads of cameras or recorders which have been marketed with the purpose of spying.

On August 11, the implementation of the new policy will take place across the globe, and all the advertisers who tend to violate the policies will be suspended.
