in June 2017 Nubia launched its most anticipated smartphone Nubia Z17 mini with just one storage options (4 GB RAm and 64 GB onboard storage). According to Nubia India officials, a high-end version of the same model with upgraded processor, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB coming to Indian in just a few weeks.
Nubia Z17 mini is the first Nubia smartphone with dual rear camera solution in India. The currently available device retails for INR 19,990 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, the upgraded version will feature an all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Octa-core SoC with same GPU and better CPU performances. The 5.2-inch 1080p display is expected to remain intact without any upgrades.
The dual camera solution is something similar the most of the dual camera setup. The setup consists of dual 13 MP camera (RGB + monochrome) with F/2.2 aperture, to make it scratch proof the camera bump is protected by crystal Saffire lens. Even the front facing camera offers 16 MP sensor with 1080p video recording capabilities.
As the currently available device features Android Marshmallow, the upcoming variant is expected to feature Android Nougat with the same 2950 mAh battery and fast charging capability via USB type C port.
Currently, Nubia Z17 mini is available for INR 19,990 via Amazon India. So, one can expect the price tag of the refreshed version to be around INR 23,990.
