Huawei’s sub smartphone brand, the Honor launches two smart tablets along with the Huawei Honor 9i. The Huawei Honor MediaPad T3 and Huawei Honor MediaPad T3 10 will be available in India from 5th excl October, exclusively on Flipkart.

The Honor MediaPad T3 10 is priced at INR 12,999 for the 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM variant, and INR 14,999 for the 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM variant respectively. Both models do support 4G LTE network with calling feature. As of now, we don’t have any information on the pricing or availability of the Huawei Honor MediaPad T3.

Both models offer a premium full metal unibody design, with an iPad Pro-like design language. The device measures at  229.8 x 159.8 x 7.95 mm and weighs just 460 grams. The MediaPad T3 offers a similar design with slightly smaller footprints compared to T3 10, and weights at 350 grams, making it a user-friendly device.

Tech specifications:

To start with the biggy, the Honor MediaPad T3 10 offers a 9.6-inch (1200*800p) HD screen, protected by a tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device is powered by an entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quad-core SoC with 1.4 GHz clock speed with 2 GB or 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM with 16 GB or 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (up to 128 GB).

On to the optics, the device offers a 5 MP rear-facing camera with 720p video recording capability and a 2 MP front-facing selfie camera with 480p video recording capability. Support for single band 2.4 Hz WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 is the additional connectivity features that are offered in the device. The MediaPad T3 10 comes with a 4800 mAh Li-ion battery and a micro USB port to charge the device (which should take a bit of a time, as the device doesn’t support fast charging capability). Finally, the device is powered by Android Nougat 7.0 with custom EMUI 5.0 user interface on the top.

The Huawei MediaPad T3 comes with an 8-inch (1200*800p) HD screen, protected by a tempered glass on the top, the chipset, RAM, storage, and the camera remains the same throughout the lineup. The only prominent change between the two models is, battery, as this is a smaller device, it houses a slightly smaller 4200 mAh battery without any support for fast charging capability.

If you are looking for a smart tablet, to consume multimedia then, one of these can be a great option. However, if you are looking for a tablet with a lot of potential under the hood, to carry multitasking and gaming then, do not go with the either of the devices, as the chipset used in this device will not be able to perform those tasks without compromising with the actual performance.
