Huawei P11 is all set to launch a successor of Huawei P10, the Huawei P11, which is expected to be the first AI-based smartphone in upcoming MWC (mobile world conference) 2018, held in Barcenola. The smartphone will take the hints from the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro with an improved design, camera, and tech specifications.

To begin with the fun part of the Huawei P11, this is likely to be the first Android Powered smartphone to feature a notch like the one on the Apple iPhone X with Face ID like technology to unlock the smartphone.

In terms of display and aesthetics, the smartphone will offer 18:9 aspect ratio display with a notch on the top. The smartphone will be powered by Huawei’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 970 Octa-core SoC, paired with at least 4 GB RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot up to 128 GB.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone is likely to offer either single or dual SIM card slot (depending on the region). Both slots are expected to offer 4G LTE and VoLte capability with support for dual-band WiFi with WiFi Hotspot. The fingerprint scanner is expected to be found on the front of the smartphone like the one on the Huawei Honor View 10.

Coming to the camera, the smartphone is likely to offer Leica branded dual camera setup with a 12 MP RGB shooter and a 12 MP monochrome shooter with 4K video recording and portrait mode. For the selfie camera, the smartphone will use a 24 MP shooter with 1080p video recording capability. There are even speculations about the fact that, this might be the first smartphone to equip 3-camera setup on the back RGB shooter + monochrome shooter + telephoto lens with X5 optical zooming capability.

For the most part, the device is expected to offer similar tech specifications as that of the recently announced Huawei Honor View 10 with a notch on the top. In terms of operating system, the smartphone will be powered by Android Oreo-based MiUi 8.0 with plenty of customisation options.

It also looks like, the company is planning to launch this device in the United States via AT&T and Verizon. So, this could be the first flagship smartphone from Huawei in the United States.
