In the latest release on Sunday, renowned Chinese network vendor Huawei took the curtains away from the world’s first commercial 5G modem that can deliver lightning fast speeds of over 2000 megabit per second on next-generation networks.

Richard Yu, Huawei CEO, Consumer Business Group during launch in Barcelona said that Huawei Balong 5G01 is the world’s first 3GPP 5G commercial device with a maximum rate of 2.3 GBPS (gigabit per second).
He further added that the company is joining hands with the likes of 30 network operators globally, including Vodafone to spread the usage of the new product based on this chipset.
The Chinese gear maker Huawei launched world’s first ever 5G CPE (Consumer Premise Equipment or Router) and made strong claims about the delivery of superfast broadband speed of up to 2 GBPS on 5G network. The good part about this router will be: it will also support 4g networks as per the news.

The latest announcement about the 5G device plays an important role in a country like India, seeing its readiness for adopting this fast mobile broadband technology and auction of 5G airwaves.
