Huawei Y9 (2018) announced with 18:9 display and four cameras

The Chinese Smartphone giant, Huawei has officially announced their new mid-range smartphone in the market with the Huawei Y9 (2018). The company has announced this smartphone today in Thailand. The company has redesigned the Huawei Mate 10 Lite smartphone and launched it with the new Huawei Y9 (2018) addition to the market.

Huawei is world’s third largest popular smartphone giants in the world with hundreds of different types of smartphones for all types of people.

Being a mid-range smartphone, the Huawei Y9 is packed with all types of advanced technical features of the current generation.


As far as the specifications of this phone are concerned, the new Huawei Y9 sports a 5.93 inch IPS LCD display with full HD+ resolution. It comes with 2160 x 1080 pixels of screen Resolution and has an aspect ratio of 18:9 which naturally makes the device look taller.

The device offers 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of Internal Storage memory option as default memory on the device. Of course, the company is also offering an expansion option to expand the memory of your device. You can use a microSD card to expand the memory of the device up to 256GB.

If we talk about the Primary Cameras, the device comes with a combination of 13 Megapixel + 2 Megapixel sensors at the back panel. On the front, the device comes with a combination of 16 Megapixel + 2 Megapixel as selfie shooter camera. The sensor uses different modes and gets you the perfect photographs. You can make full HD video calls and can take perfect selfies out of this cameras.

The device runs on an Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. On top of that, it uses company’s own EMUI 8.0 skin. The updated EMUI 8.0 comes with a bunch of customisable option to customise the device and its functionality as per your requirements.
