Infinix has launched their much anticipated Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro in India priced at ₹17,999 and ₹19,999 for the 6 GB-64 GB and the 6 GB-128 GB storage variants in India. Both smartphones will be available via Flipkart from today afternoon.

For the early adopters, the brand is offering an impressive set of features like flat 10 percent cash back on for the HDFC credit and debit card users, zero cost EMI from the major credit-card bands for the 6 months and 12 months plan. Up to ₹17,000 cashback on the exchange of the older smartphones, and Jio is also offering a free 100 GB complimentary 4G data with the data plans ranging from ₹309 or higher.

To look at the quick specifications, the Infinix Zero 5 and the Infinix Zero 5 Pro offers a 6.0-inch IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. However, the smartphones use a TFT-LCD panel with the older 16:9 aspect ratio screen, which might be a deal breaker for those who are planning to use this smartphone for the long haul. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P25 Octa-core SoC, paired with 6 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (up to 128 GB).

Coming to the camera capability, the smartphone offers a dual rear-facing camera setup with 12 MP wide angle lens and a 13 MP telephoto lens with X2 optical zoom and portrait mode. For the selfie camera, the smartphone uses a 16 MP selfie shooter with 1080p video recording capability.

Finally, the smartphone offers a massive 4350 mAh Li-ion sealed battery with fast charging capability via USB type C port with support for USB OTG as well. The smartphone does offer Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top, which is something similar to that of the MIUI, with no app drawer what so ever.
