The US phone maker Infocus has announced an entry-level smartphone called the Infocus A2. The company took to Twitter to announce the device and its detail. The device has already been listed on the official website of the brand. It has been designed to appeal to feature phone buyers with 4G VoLTE capabilities as the highlight.

Coming to the specifications part, priced at Rs. 5999 one should not expect much but the Infocus has surprised everyone with the list of features provided in this phone. The specs sheet consists of : the InFocus A2 comes with a 5-inch IPS display, which offers a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The display of the device is further topped with a layer of 2.5D curved glass-a bit impressive for this range. InFocus has equipped the smartphone with a powerful quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor that has been clocked at 1.3GHz, and accompanied by a Mali 400-MP2 GPU. The processor of the device is further coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There is a microSD card slot, which supports expansion by up to 256GB. However, on the missing note, the device lacks a fingerprint scanner.

The imaging department boasts a 5 MP unit on the front and 5 MP sensor at the back, that is accompanied by an LED flash.The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s proprietary Smile UX skin. The list of connectivity options provided on this device includes 4G VoLTE on a dual hybrid SIM setup, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and micro USB port at the bottom.It comes with a 2,400 mAh battery, which the company claims to last a day on a single charge.
