Instagram tests “Regram” feature that lets users post to Stories

Instagram is testing on an option of Regram that allows to post other accounts pictures to your Instagram story. Those who are having access to this feature will get an option as “Add post to your story” which is a share icon. If some one has it’s account in public mode and does’t wish that people should share it, then these changes could be made in the settings.

“We’re always testing ways to make it easier to share any moment with friends on Instagram.” the company said. This feature is currently in testing phase and has been given access to limited users.

As explained by an app developer, Zachary Shakked, he said that you will have options for how you want it to appear. It could be rotated, resized or moved it around as per the users wish. There will be two ways to represent the post as well. This is one of the latest updates Instagram is working on it’s story feature.

The company made this decision after observing people taking screenshots of the posts and uploading them on the Story. Instagram recently updated two features of Story, to add GIFs and change in font while posting stories on Instagram.
