Intex, the original smartphone maker from India launches a new budget segmented Android smartphone in India for INR 4,599. The device will be available via offline retail stores from 23rd September 2017.
The Intex Aqua Lion 2 features full plastic unibody design, which brings back the memories from early 2010, the prime time of the smartphone booming. Here is the complete set of specifications for the Intex Aqua Lion 2.
The Intex Aqua Lion 2 features a 5-inch (480*854p) FWVGA display with three capacitive navigation buttons on the bottom. Under the hood, the device is powered by entry-level MediaTek Quad-core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (up to 64 GB).
The Lion 2 packs a 5 MP autofocus rear-facing camera with a single tone single LED flash, on the front, the device packs a similar 5 MP selfie camera without autofocus capability with a single tone LED flash. The smartphone also offers value-added features like Tap n Buy, Xender and Amazon Prime video built onto the internal storage. The device packs a 2400 mAh Li-ion user-accessible battery with normal charging capability.
In terms of connectivity, the device features dedicated dual micro SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with a custom user interface on the top. Currently, this is the cheapest smartphone from the OEM under the Lion lineup.
