Indian based smartphone brand Intex launches a new entry-level Android smartphone in the country. The Intex Aqua Note 5.5 is the latest smartphone from the OEM focused on the entry level smartphone users who consume a lot of multimedia through their smartphone.

The device offers all plastic design, which is a cost cutting idea for any budget smartphone. The device is offered in Gold and Black colour options exclusively on Amazon.in

On to the tech-specifications, the device runs an entry level MTK6737 Quad-core 1.25 SoC paired with 2 GB  LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB flash memory. The device does offer additional SD card slot (up to 128 GB). In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability. However, the device doesn’t offer features like finger print scanner or dual camera setup.

Moving towards the camera department, the device is equipped with an 8 MP rear-facing camera with features like PDAF, HDR and HD video recording capability. The device does offer an entry level 5 MP selfie camera(fixed focus technology) with selfie flash.

The 2800 mAh battery is non-user accessible and according to the company, the battery will last at least for a complete day on a single charge. Unlike most of the entry level Android smartphones, the device runs on the latest version of Android Nougat with custom UI on the top.
