iVoomi India launches two new mobile phones in India. The iVoomi Me3 and iVoomi Me3S priced at INR 5,499 and INR 6,499 respectively. These devices will be available exclusively on Flipkart in the following colors, Midnight Black, Teal Blue, and Champagne Gold color options.
What makes iVoomi Me3 and Me3S different from the crowded entry level smartphone market?
The iVoomi Me3 and iVoomi Me3S are the first set of entry level smartphones to feature shatter proof display technology. In case, if you tend to break the display within 180 days there will be free screen replacement from the company with no questions asked.
iVoomi Me3S:
iVoomi Me3S features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD 720p screen with 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. The mobile is powered by 64 bit enabled MediaTek MTK6737 Octa-core SoC, paired with 32 GB onboard flash storage and 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM. The mobile does offer a micro SD card (up to 128 GB).
iVoomi Me3S features a 13 MP rear-facing camera with features like PDAF and 1080p video recording capability. The front-facing camera does feature a similar 8 MP camera minus the autofocus with 720p video-recording capability. The mobile features a 3000 mAh battery with rapid charging capability (2 Amp and 5 Volts) with support for USB OTG as well.
On to the operating system, the device runs on a customised version of Android Nougat 7.1 with a bit of pre-installed bloatware (some of the bloats can be un-installed). The mobile offers dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both slots so, one can use Jio SIM in the second slot without any problem.
Support for Bluetooth 4.0, dual band WiFi channel is also a welcome feature.
iVoomi Me3:
There is not much of a difference between the two models, The iVoomi features same 5.2 inch HD screen with a 2.5D curved screen, instead of 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM, the mobile offers 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM.
In terms of camera capability, the device replaces 13 MP sensor by smaller 8 MP sensor with single tone LED flash and the front facing selfie camera remains identical. The battery remains at 3000 mAh and does offer fast charging capability.
At least on paper, iVoomi Me3 and iVoomi Me3S sounds like promising devices at an affordable price tag. However, we would recommend iVoomi Me3S over Me3 as you get so many features for extra 1K.
