Jivi mobiles were known for their entry level feature phones in India. Due to never ending smartphone demand in India, the company has launched their first set of smartphones in the country.

All 5 smartphones are priced between the 3,333 to 6,599. Let us look at these devices one after another for in-depth details about the portfolio.

Jivi Energy E3

This is the most affordable smartphone of the lot. The device is priced at INR 3,333. The device offers 4-inch WVGA display with 1.3 GHz Quad-core SoC, paired with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB onboard storage. The device does support additional SD card slot (up to 32 GB). In terms of camera capabilities, the device offers 5 MP autofocus enabled rear-facing camera with 2 MP fixed focus front-facing camera. In terms of battery capacity, the device offers 1800 mAh user replaceable battery. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.

Jivi Energy E12

Jivi Energy E12 offers slightly better specifications compared to the E3. The device sports a similar 4-inch WVGA display powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM (double the RAM compared to Energy E3) with 8 GB onboard storage (double) that is expandable up to 32 GB using a micro SD card. Even the 2300 mAh battery is expected to last for a complete working day with a single charge.

The 5 MP autofocus enabled rear-facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera offers similar features compared to the first model. The Jini Energy E12 runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top. The device retails for INR 3,699.

Jivi Prime P300

Jivi Prime P300 priced at INR 4,999 offers 5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD screen with 2.5D curved glass on the top. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard storage with additional SD card slot.

The camera offered in this model is slightly better than the first two smartphones. The 8 MP main camera with autofocus does support 720p video recording capability. The front-facing 5 MP selfie camera is also expected to offer greater looking selfies if they are captured in the natural lighting condition. In terms of software experience, the device is speculated to run on Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top.

Jivi Prime P390

The Jivi Prime p390 comes with a 5 inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass. The device runs on 1.3 GHz Quad-core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB flash storage with a dedicated SD card slot which can accept micro SD cards up to 32 GB.

On to the optics, the device offers 8 MP rear-facing and 5 MP front facing cameras with 720p video recording capability and tap to focus feature. The device comes with a 2400 mAh battery without any fast charging capability. In terms of OS, the device runs on a forked version of Android Nougat and not intended to receive any updates in the future. The retail price for this device is INR 5,799

Finally, the Jivi Grand 3000

The Jini Grand 3000 comes with slightly bigger 5.5-inch FWVGA display covered with 2.5D curved tempered glass. Underneath, the 1.3 GHz Quad-core SoC paired with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB flash storage make sure that the device will perform smoothly.

The camera on this device is being upgraded to 16 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera with 720p video recording capability. The Jivi Grand 3000 comes with slightly bigger 3000 mAh battery to cater the large 5.5-inch display. The device is powered by Android Nougat 7.0 and priced at INR 6,599.
