Apple bangs with a new Update. Apple’s new update extends the life of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Apple names it as “battery health management”, and will be available in macOS Catalina 10.15.5.

By default, the new feature is intended to extend the overall lifespan of your laptop battery by reducing the rate of chemical aging. It does so by not charging the battery up to the maximum in certain cases. Fully charging a battery puts a strain on it that can more rapidly reduce its longevity over time. Some phones now avoid charging to 100 percent until just before you wake up for this reason.

To make the update efficient user needs to follow these steps. Firstly the user needs to Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu, then click Energy Saver. secondly, the user needs to Click Battery Health.

Deselect Battery health management, then click OK. At last, the user needs to click turn off.

The new Battery Health Management feature will be available on all MacBooks with two Thunderbolt 3 ports. This includes the new MacBook Air, the 13-inch MacBook Pro, and 16-inch Macbook Pro. Apple had rolled out a similar feature called Optimized Battery Charging in its Ios-powered devices.

Apple’s announcements have come in unexpected bursts this season, as the COVID-19 pandemic prevents the company from holding its usually splashy product launch events. Apple released an Update in MacBook. Last month and just yesterday, the company also Introduced the I phone.
