Lava India launches a new range of smartphones in India. The Z60, Z70, Z80, and Z90 will be available in India from offline and online channels. The Lava Z60 is priced at INR 5,550, Lava Z70 is priced at the INR 8,000, Lava Z80 is priced at the INR 9,000 and the most costly device of the lot, the Lava Z90 is priced at INR 10,750 only.

The Lava Z90, Z80 and Z70 offer a full metal unibody solution, and the Lava Z60 offers a plastic unibody solution, which looks like the metal unibody design. Here is the complete list of tech-specifications of these new smartphones.

The Lava Z60:

Let’s start with the most affordable of the lot, the Lava Z60. The device is equipped with a 5-inch FWVGA screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass. Under the hood, the device offers a 1.1 GHz Quad-core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

The device offers a 5 MP rear-facing camera, as well as a 5-MP front-facing selfie camera with 720p video recording capability with a dedicated single tone single, LED flash on both the cameras. The device is fitted with a 2500 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability. The device also offers Android Nougat 7.0 with star OS 4.1 on the top. The device also offers 3.5 mm headphone jack, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot and dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability.

The Lava Z70:

The Lava Z70 offers a full metal unibody solution with a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD HD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device offers a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core SoC, paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB). The device also offers a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the camera capability, the device offers an 8 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. The main camera can record 1080p videos, however, the front-facing selfie camera offers 720p video recording capability. However, both devices offer an individual LED flash.

In terms of battery, the device offers a 2500 mAh Li-ion battery with 10W fast charging capability, with dual SIM card slot along with 4G LTE and VoLte capability. In terms of operating system, even the Lava Z70 offers Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top.

The Lava Z80:

Being priced at INR 9,000, the device offers a 5-inch 720p HD display with 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device is powered by the same processor as that of the Lava Z70 (MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core SoC, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (up to 128 GB).

In terms of camera capability, the device offers an 8 MP rear-facing camera with a 5 MP front-facing camera with 1080p and 720p video recording capability. Even this device offers an LED flash for both the camera modules.

Coming to the standard feature, the Lava Z80 offers a dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability with support for single band WiFi and WiFi Hotspot. Even this device offers finger-print scanner and a full metal unibody design.

The Lava Z90:

The Lava Z90 offers the best specifications in the market, for the device that is priced INR 10,750. The Lava Z90 is equipped with a 5.2-inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the same MediaTek MT6737 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (up to 128 GB).

In terms of camera capability, the Lava Z90 offers a dual rear-camera setup with an 8 MP sensor as well as an 2 MP secondary sensor, which offers features like portrait mode, 1080p video recording capability. On the other hand, the front-facing 8 MP selfie camera with front-facing LED flash with 720p video recording capability.

The device runs on Android Nougat with the custom user interface on the top with dual SIM card slots, that offers 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots. For the price tag of INR 10,750, the device offers a lot of things.
