Lenovo, the worlds leading smart gadgets manufacturer is all set to launch a new mid-range smartphone in India. According to its official twitter handle and other social media handles, the device will debut tomorrow and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart (K8 for Amazon and K8 Plus for Flipkart, Good job Lenovo).

The Lenovo K8 Plus will be catered for those, who are in search for a smartphone with a big screen (mainly to consume digital content). It looks like, the device will be up against the Xiaomi Mi MAX 2, which sports 6.44-inch FHD 1080p display and bigger 5300 mAh battery.

According to speculations, the Lenovo K8 Note Plus will feature 6.5-inch FHD screen with full metal unibody design (just like Lenovo K8 Note). The device will feature Helio P20 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 or 4 GB RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB onboard storage with a dedicated SD card slot and dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots.

The Lenovo K8 Note Plus will offer dual camera setup (similar to that of K8 Note) with 4K video recording and real time bokeh effect. With respect to the operating system, the device will be powered by Android Nougat without 3rd party customisation (stock Android). As the Lenovo K8 offers 4000 mAh battery, so, the K8 Note Plus will offer at least 5000 mAh battery with rapid charging support (up to 15W via stock charger). However, the device might not offer USB type C and expected to feature same old school micro USB port.

Finally coming to the pricing, the device is expected to be priced around INR 15,000 to INR 17,000 depending on the storage and RAM options. What do you think about the upcoming Lenovo K8 Note Plus let us know in the comments below?
