Gaming territory has evolved from nothing to supremacy. People game using desktop, consoles and hand held devices. Recent trend in this territory is portable PC, as powerful GPU’s and CPU’s became more and more affordable, the market is booming like anything. However, though there are n number of OEM’s in the western countries that offers gaming specific notebooks. To full fill this burden in India, Lenovo the words largest PC manufacture has created brand from the scratch named Lenovo Legion.

Lenovo Legion is focused at the professional or hardcore games, who plays titles like Witch craft 3, GTA V or latest map of CS Go at the highest frame rates possible. The solid built quality to state of the art music system also justify the price tag.

Lenovo recently announced two models in India, the entry level one is called as Lenovo Legion Y520. The Y520 offers standard 15.6 inch IPS lcd screen with anti glare coating, powered by 7th gen Intel i5 or i7 SoC, paired with 8 GB or 16 GB LPDDR4 RAM. With respect to GPU, the device offers NVIDIA 1050Ti with 4 GB GDDR5. The 1 TB hard disc is paired with 128 GB SSD to fast up the booting process.

The upgraded version of the same is called as Lenovo Legion Y720. Unlike the Y520, this offers more powerful GPU, faster CPU and double the storage as well. The notebook is powered by same 7th generation i7 processor with just 16 GB RAM and NVIDIA 1060 with 6 GB GDDR5. In terms of storage, the device offers 2 TB HDD fused with 256 GB of SSD.

Both notebooks run on 64 bit Windows 10 Home operating system, with certified speakers from Harman Audio with Dolby Premium and Dolby Atoms. Lenovo even created its own line up of accessories from mechanical keyboard to mechanical mouse and gaming headphones. To match with the competitors like Alienware and MSN, both machines offers programmable LED backlit keypad.

To conclude, the Y520 retails at INR ₹92,490 for the top end model and Y720 costs ₹150,490. These notebooks will be available from 31st May midnight via Flipkart and Lenovo Legion official site as well.
