Lenovo backed Moto Mobility is all set to launch their next smartphone Moto X4 In India. Moto X4 was unveiled earlier this month in IFA Berlin. Here is a complete set of specifications for the upcoming mid-range mobile from Lenovo Moto.

The Moto X4 follows the signature design from the Moto G5 lineup, however, instead of Aluminium, the mobile features 3D curved tempered Glass back panel with metal accent.

The Moto X4 offers a 5.2 inch 1080p IPS LCD screen covered by 2.5-D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a Hybrid SIM slot (SIM + SIM) or (SIM + SD card).

In terms of optics, the Moto X4 features dual-camera solution. The main 12 MP sensor comes with F/2.0 aperture and larger 1.4-micron pixels and the secondary 8 MP sensor is a wide angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. The camera does offer premium features like 4K video recording capability, portrait mode, and 720p slow-motion video recording capability. For the selfie lovers, the phone offers 16 MP camera with front-facing LED flash along with 1080p video recording capability.

Like every Moto branded Android smartphone, the device runs on Stock Android operating system (Android Nougat) 7.1.2 and entitled to receive Android Oreo in the near future. Finally, the device is likely to be priced at INR 20,000 or higher.

Considering the fact that, the similarly looking (almost the same specifications) the Moto G5S Plus is currently available in India for INR 15,999. According to us, the Moto X4 doesn’t offer many differences compared to the Moto G5S Plus, which might impact the overall sale of the device. What do you think about the Moto X4? Are you willing to pay extra INR 5,000 just for the metal body and a slightly powerful SoC? Share your views in the comments below.
