LG unveils its latest mid-tier dual camera smartphone LG Q8 in Korea. The device is focused on those audiences, who cannot afford to spend $600 on a smartphone and still crave for the flagship features. The design aspects of Lg Q8 has been taken from their last generation flagship smartphone LG G5.

The LG Q8 comes with a metal unibody design with the dual rear camera and rear faced finger print scanner. The device is most likely to be launched in India within few weeks just like LG Q6.

In terms of specifications, the LG Q8 is powered by last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, paired with 4 GB RAM and 32 onboard storage with a dedicated SD card slot. The 5.2-inch display found on this device is a high-resolution QHD 5.2 IPS LCD panel, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. On to the camera, the 16 MP + 8 MP camera setup is something similar to the one found on LG G5 as well. The combination is expected to work like charm (as seen in the previous iterations). The 8 MP wide-angle front facing camera is also expected to offer good selfies as well.

The device runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 with custom LG UI on the top. The device is expected to receive Android Oreo in the near future. For the audio enthusiasts, the device offers a 32-Bit Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC) for the unprecedented audio output via headphone jack as well as the speaker.

The 3000 mAh battery does support fast charging capability via USB type C port with faster USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. The LG Q8 is priced at KRW 616,000 or INR 35,000 making it a premium segment smartphone.
