If you are into flagship smartphones, then LG V30 must be on your radar. As a matter of fact, this is one of the greatest flagship smartphones from a well-established brand and the price tag (expected to be priced at ₹47,990) makes it an absolute flagship smartphone.

As a matter of fact, the LG V30 has some of the specifications which are missing on the much premium flagship smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S8 and even the Apple iPhone X. According to Phone Radar, the smartphone will be made available in India in the month of December, the device is expected to go sale on Amazon with some initial discounts and offers. As a matter of fact, this is the first LG flagship smartphone that has got everything, that one can expect from a 2017 flagship.

To begin with the technical specifications, the LG V30 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC. This might be the one reason to go with it, as the Samsung flagship smartphones are powered by Exynos processors. This powerful Mobile Solution is paired with 4 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 2 TB).

In terms of connectivity, the Indian iteration is expected to feature a Hybrid SIM card slot, which can take either two nano SIM cards or a SIM + SD card. Other standard features like dual-band WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 will also be included in the package.

To continue with the interesting features, the LG V30 is equipped with a 6.0-inch POLED QHD+ 1440p touch panel protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as on the back. This is the second cheapest smartphone in India (after the LG G6) to support HRD10 and Dolby Vision compatibility. As this is an OLED panel, the device also offers always on display, which consumes a negligible amount of battery.

The next big thing about the LG V30 is the camera. This is the first smartphone to use a 16 MP rear-facing camera with F/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilisation. There is a secondary 13 MP wide angle shooter with F/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide angle lens. The smartphone does offer a plethora of camera-centric settings, which are not found on any of the smartphones till date. For the selfie camera, the device uses a 5 MP fixed focus wide angle shooter with 90 degrees viewing angle.

If you are an audiophile, then you will love the Quad-DAC support for the 3.5 mm headphone jack. As a matter of fact, this is one of the last flagship smartphones that still retains the jack with the improved audio driver. To enhance the overall audio experience, the brand is expected to throw in a B&O headphones in the real package as well. The device is IP68 certified against water and dust resistance, so, you can use this smartphone for underwater shootings as well. This smartphone is also MIL-STD-810G certified for its ruggedness.

Finally, coming to the battery. The smartphone offers a 3300 mAh Li-ion sealed battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 capability along Qi-based wireless charging as well.
