The Indian smartphone OEM M-tech launches their first Android powered smartphone named M-tech TEZ. The device is for those, who are looking for a secondary smartphone at an affordable price tag and for those who are looking to buy their first even smartphone.

The device follows the budget android smartphone trend, featuring all polycarbonate built with gold colour shade. Here is an official statement from the Director of M-tech, Gautam Kumar Jain

We believe TEZ is the best in the category and consumers will certainly love it.”

In terms of specifications, the device speaks for itself. Featuring a 5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD screen, protected by Dragontrail glass is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard storage. The device does accept micro SD cards up to 32 GB. For connectivity, the device has dual SIM card slots with analogue FM radio support.

The M-tech TEZ features 5 MP primary camera and a secondary 2 MP selfie shooter. 2400 mAh battery does not support fast charging (not expected at this price range) and the device does support all the necessary features like WiFi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, USB OTG and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The device runs on a customised version of Android Marshallow and no information regarding the future software updates. The device can be purchased both online and offline resellers.
