Micromax India’s head Rahul Sharma launches its first smartphone with Infinity display (almost) for INR 9,999 in India. front the front side, the device looks exactly similar to recently launched LG Q6 (with almost same specs sheet). Front the rear-end the device looks like Redmi Note 4.

The main attraction about the Micromax Canvas infinity is its big 5.7-inch edge to edge display with narrow bezels. However, the screen resolution is just about HD 1440 x 720 (not even 1080p full HD), the display does look good, however, its bit pixelated due to massive 5.7-inch screen size.

Under the hood, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 is paired with 3 GB RAM takes care of every task. The device does feature a dedicated SD card slot (up to 128 GB).  The device is powered by highly flavoured Android Nougat with 3rd party custom skin on the top. The device offers 16 MP front-facing selfie camera with F/2.0 aperture and a 13 MP rear-facing camera with the same F/2.0 aperture, both front and the main camera can record 1080p videos up to 30fps or 720p up to 60fps.

This is probably the only device that comes with user-replaceable back case and battery with a metal-unibody design. The 2900 mAH Li-ion battery does support fast charging capability (10W) via micro USB port.

The device will be exclusively available on Amazon India and the pre-registration for the first sale happening in on September 1st begins from 22nd Aug 2017. According to Rahul Sharma, the device comes with promising 24 hours service or complete replacement.
