Indian smartphone manufacturer, Micromax has sent out invite for its new smartphone launch on March 29. The invite does not only reveal the name of the smartphone to be launched, but also shows the rear side of the phone with dual camera.
After a pretty silent phase in the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017, Micromax seems to be at the business again. After showing off a few teasers, the announcement of the launch date and along with that, a clear indication of a dual rear camera shows the aggressive branding of the next gen smartphones from the company.
According to the rumors which have arrived yet for the new smartphone from Micromax, the new smartphone might have a pair of 13MP and 5MP cameras at the back with a 5MP selfie camera. The smartphone will support 4G VoLTE along with a finger print scanner embedded with the home button.
Recently, The Mobile Indian had published a report based on the rumors, in which the website had expected the smartphone to be powered by Mediatek Octa Core processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which will be expandable with the help of a micro SD card.
Going by the specification, it seems that the smartphone will be a low-mid range device and it can be priced around ₹11,999. If Micromax gets the pricing right, and the image quality comes out good, then the smartphone might give a tough competition to Huawei’s Honor 6X, which is priced at ₹12,999 and does wonders with the dual camera at the back.
