Microsoft announces next generation Xbox One X

At E3 2017, Microsoft lift the curtain to showcase their all new gaming console named Xbox One X. Its not only the newest console, but the costliest console ever made by Microsoft, in fact this cost more than any console including Play Station. The device is priced at $499, will be within few months across the globe (November).

However, the device will take time to reach India, as Microsoft has to import it from China. We are also expected to see the price tag of the Xbox One X in India. Due to GST, the device is most likely to cost around INR 40,000. The device does sport, Ultra HD Blue-Ray player, so, this woks as Home-theatre setup as well.

Lets talk more about features of this console. For the first  time, a Microsoft gaming console has been made in non white colour (Matt Black). The device looks like a new version of PS4 Pro with solid hardware underneath. The device now offers custom GPU with processing power upto 6 TeraFlops, you may think what does this number reflect on perforce, ex: Sony’s latest PS4 Pro can only output maximum of 4.2 teraflops. The R&D team has come up with something new with respect to thermal management, called liquid-cooled vapor-chamber cooling, this should cool down the GPU as well as increase the performance as well.

Instead of 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM in Xbox one, now the device gets more power efficient 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM with standard 1 GB hard disc. The console also supports backward compatibility, so, one can run all your old titles from Xbox one with upto 4k resolution. Microsoft also announced 22 new gaming titles as well. One should also note that, this console does feature all standard ports just like its predecessor, so, upgrading from last generation will be a breeze.

This is the first console that claims to render in native 4k, presently the Sony PS4 Pro tops at just 2K. Let wait to see, will people opt the cheaper one or one with more power.
