Microsoft Office 2019

Another addition to the Office Suite, Microsoft has already added Office 2019 to his line up. According to ‘Ignite’, a conference held last year, Redmond-based firm threw some glimpse of the new standalone office suite. A really good news for those who don’t want to renew their subscription spending few bucks. Microsoft will offer the upgrade to the existing desktop office 2018, but unfortunately only for Windows 10. According to the announcement, the upgrade will hit the market by mid of 2018.

New Features
In an official statement by the General Manager, Jared Sparato, the centre of attraction will be the cloud storage. Office 2019 will enable new inking features like- pressure sensitivity, tilt effects and ink replay. Further, this will allow the users to work more in a natural way. The upgrade has also added new formulas and charts, that will enhance the data analysis in Excel. Some more feature that further includes PowerPoint Presentations like- Morph and Zoom. There are some server relater upgrades done in the upgrade that adds to IT manageability, usability, voice, and security. However, Microsoft has also revised the support lifecycle for Office 2019, which will get you 5 years of mainstream support and approximately 2 years of extended support.

Sparato adds,

‘We recognize that moving to the cloud is a journey with many considerations along the way. Office 2019 will be a valuable upgrade for customers who feel that they need to keep some or all of their apps and servers on-premises, and we look forward to sharing more details about the release in the coming months.’

Official Release
Yet Microsoft has not confirmed any official release for Office 2019. Initially, the event last year declared that Office 2019 will be up by the second half of 2018. So, its time to keep checking back to see what Microsoft has in store.

Pricing
No confirmation in this category too, but the earlier version office365 offers  £59.99 per year for a single-user license. The same is available for £5.99 for a single month use, and the license with five-user accessibility will cost you about £79.99 or £7.99 per month.

A major bad news from the statement, that the Microsoft Office 2019 won’t be running on PCs who are running any OS version later than Windows 10. Hard luck for those who are running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
