Google finally launches its much first Android One branded smartphone in the United States of America for $399 (contract free) or $16.63 for the 24 months cellular contract.

Originally, the Moto X4 was unveiled earlier this month in IFA Berlin. The smartphone features premium design language with all glass unibody built. As a matter of fact, this is the first non-pixel or nexus device to feature Project Fi, which offers phenomenal wireless connectivity.

The Moto X4 Android One is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot. One cannot use a local carrier SIM card, as the Moto X4 Android One offers Google Fi, with voice calls, data services and messaging in partnered with the leading telecom providers in the United States (Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular).

The smartphone packs a dual rear-facing camera with a 12 MP main sensor, featuring F/2.0 aperture with 1.4µm pixel size, and a secondary 8 MP wide-angle lens with F/2.2 aperture and 1.12µm pixel size. The camera combination can offer great photography experiences like Portrait mode, 4K video recording capability and slow-motion video recording capability. For the selfie enthusiasts, the smartphone features a 16 MP front-facing camera with a dual-tone LED flash.

The Moto X4 Android One is IP68 certified, which means the device can stay deep in five feet under water up to 30 minutes. The smartphone packs a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery with Turbocharging capability via USB type C port.
