We are yet to receive Nokia 8, it looks like Nokia is busy in designing the upcoming flagship from Nokia, the Nokia 9. The Nokia 9 is expected to solve all the shortcomings in the Nokia 8, making it a strong contender in the flagship smartphone market.

Unlike the Nokia 8, the Nokia 9 will feature glass back case, to incorporate features like wireless Qi-based charging capability and for the premium aesthetics.

The Nokia 9 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB or 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage. The mobile is also likely to feature a micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB).

On to the camera, the Nokia 9 might feature upgraded dual rear-camera setup (RGB + RGB) with features like 2X optical zoom, portrait mode, 10X digital zoom and 4k video recording capability up to 60 frames per second. Even with the front-facing camera, we can expect an 8 MP shooter with 4K video recording capability. The device is expected to offer Android Oreo out of the box with a promised update to Android P.

However, according to the recent trends, the device might not be announced in 2017. HMD Global might announce this new flagship smartphone on CES in January 2018. Pour-in your inputs on the upcoming Nokia 9.
