At the Oculus connecting event, the first fully-fledged VR headset gets a permanent price cut of $100, over the original $499 price tag. The $399 price tag includes a pair of touch motion controller, which makes pretty much good deal compared to the HTC Vive priced $799.

Originally, the Oculus Rift was priced at $599, which didn’t include the touch motion controller making it the best deal ever, if you are planning to buy the fully fledged VR headset. This new deal should be the best opportunity to capture the VR market, which should be able to capture a junk of VR market. However, the VR still needs a powerful PC, as the source to use this device.

Looking at the price tag, one can consider the fact that the Oculus Rift’s price tag reduction might be the reason that the company is being ready to launch the upgraded next edition of the Gear VR, which should include top of the line upgraded capabilities with more comfortable overall design and improved VR experience.

The company also launches a new cheaper version of Oculus VR called Oculus Go which will be available for just $199, and it is a standalone device, unlike the standard edition which requires a powerful Personal computer.

Even for the corporate edition, the Oculus is being offered for $999 with full-sized VR headphones, motion touch controller with 3 hall sensor for the business conferences. So, have you been using the Oculus or any other VR headset? or you are waiting for the price cut, which makes it more affordable? probably, this will be the lowest price tag that the Oculus is being offered. So, what do you think about the VR future and its overall development? One day VR is going to make the next type of entertainment in the future?
