OnePlus 5, the upcoming flagship from the Chinese smartphone startup is coming to India along with other markets on the first phase itself. OnePlus has started sending invites for their upcoming launch AKA the OnePlus 5.
According to evleaks, a famous twitter. OnePlus 5 will be launched in India on 22nd June exclusively via Amazon.in and the device offers 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
Company has also confirmed that, the device will the first from them to offer dual camera setup at the back. Rumours also predict that, this will be the first device to offer dual front and rear facing camera setup ( 4 cameras in total). The device will also offer all metal unibody design along with USB type C for charging and data syncing. The finger print sensor will be placed similar to that of OnePlus 3 or 3t.
The device is expected to house either 1080p or 2K OLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and safire crystal protection for camera module. In terms of design, the device is expected to take inspiration from the Apple iPhone 7+, and the renders also tell the same story. Finally, the device will be powered by Android Nougat with expected Android O update in the future with battery greater that 3000 mAh capacity with next generation Dash Charging technology.
In terms of pricing, the device is expected to be priced around INR 33,000 to INR 40,000 depending on the storage option (either 64 GB or 128 GB) without any external SD card support.
