OnePlus 5T is almost official, and the company is unveiling its features one by one via social media. To confirm the name, the company’s co-founder posted a picture of five teacups (5 Tea or 5T). So, here are the know things about the upcoming flagship smartphone OnePlus 5T.

Display: This will be the first smartphone from OnePlus to feature the new 18:9 aspect ratio display with 6.0-inch OLED touchscreen display protected by 2.5D Curved tempered glass from the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top.

Design and build quality: With respect to design and build quality, the device offers a similar full metal unibody design which will similar to that of the Oppo R11 (the device will also look similar to that of the current flagship smartphone OnePlus 5).

Hardware specifications: The hardware specifications on the OnePlus 5T will be in line with the OnePlus 5. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM or 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage (no external SD card slot). However, the device will not feature a front-facing fingerprint scanner, as most part of the front form factor will be utilised by the display. So, the fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back of the device, just like the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Camera: The device is expected to use the same 16 MP + 20 MP camera setup on the back with the portrait mode, X1.6 optical zoom and 4K video recording capability. For the selfie, the device is expected to use the same 16 MP shooter with 1080p video recording capability.

From the latest trend, the device is also expected to retain 3.5 mm headphone jack, which is removed in most of the 2017 flagship smartphones. Finally, the device is expected to be priced at INR 35,000 for the 64 GB storage variant and INR 40,000 for the 128 GB storage variant.
