OnePlus has pushed a new software update for its latest OnePlus 5T smartphone, which fixes most of the bugs. To begin with, the update weighs around 285 MB. So before downloading, make sure that you have connected your device to faster WiFi to install the update quickly.

This is an incremental update, and the device is still running on Oxygen OS based on Android Nougat. So, there won’t be any visible changes what so ever. Here is the list of changes as mentioned on the official download page.

To start with the camera, the update offers an improved photo taking capability in low lightning and average lighting condition. Overall, the device should offer improved camera capability with an improved varied depth of field and a newer camera capability. One might also see a new camera user interface, which should ease the way you take photos and videos.

The other things are system updates. In terms of audio, one can expect an improved audio via mono speakers, via the headphone jack. So, overall, the device should offer improved audio update before installing this update.

The Face unlock feature also gets an update. Now, the smartphone will be able to offer better face unlocking with foolproof technique.  This should make the device more secure. The device should have better control over the vibration motor as well.

Some users complained that the device consumed a lot of battery when it was connected to WiFi. With this update, the device will have better battery backup, when the device is connected to an open WiFi. The fingerprint scanner should now be faster and accurate than ever before.

Finally, the overall general bugs and the GPS connectivity issue should not be there. Overall, this is a nice upgrade, which solves a lot of problems faced by the users of OnePlus 5T in a short span of time.
