From last few days, OnePlus 5T/6 is in limelight. However, we didn’t have any proof regarding the confirmation of the same. Recent image posted by the micro-blogging site phoneleaks posted a photo, which is an alleged live image of the upcoming OnePlus premium smartphone. Looking at the placement of alert slider, volume buttons and power button, one can say that, this device is from OnePlus. Even the wallpaper on the device does go with the OnePlus style of wallpapers.

The alleged OnePlus 5T/6 offers an almost bezel-less design with improved screen aspect ration (18:9 instead of 16:9). So, let’s look at the speculated specifications list.

The device will 5.7-inch FHD+ OLED display, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with either 6 GB or 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage without any SD card slot. In terms of connectivity, the device is expected to feature dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability. Until OnePlus 5, the device offered a fingerprint scanner on the home button, but in the render picture, the device doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner, so, the company is likely to offer a rear-facing fingerprint scanner for the first time.

In terms of camera, the device is expected to borrow dual rear-facing camera setup from OnePlus 5 (16 MP + 20 MP) Sony-made sensor with features like X2 optical zoom, 4k video recording capability. For the selfie enthusiasts, the device offers 16 MP front-facing selfie camera with 1080p video recording capability.

The device might offer improvements over build quality, and expected to feature glass back panel with wireless charging. In terms of operating system, the device is expected to offer Android Oreo with custom Oxygen UI on the top. The device is also expected to feature a bigger battery with Dash charging capability.
