Oppo India is all set to launch their next premium smartphone in India on 2nd November. We also know that the company is launching Oppo F5, which was launched in the Philippines a few days before.
So, the device will feature a full metal unibody design with an almost bezel-less display on the front. Here is the complete set of specifications of the same.
The device will feature a 5.99-inch FHD+ TFT display with an all-new 18:9 cinematic aspect ratio with the nearly bezel-less design. The Oppo F5 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 Octa-core SoC, paired with either 3 GB or 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot.
In terms of camera capability, the device is likely to offer a 16 MP rear-facing camera with F/1.8 aperture and a 20 MP front-facing selfie camera with F/2.0 aperture along with 1080p video recording capability. As per the connectivity is concerned, the device offers a dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability. Other standard features like WiFi, WiFi Hotspot and Bluetooth version 4.2 are also supported. These cameras are powered by Artificial intelligence, which offers the best camera capability in the budget.
Coming to the battery capacity, the device offers a 3200 mAh Li-ion (non-user replaceable) battery with fast charging capability via USB type C slot. With respect to the operating system, the device is powered by Android Nougat 7.1 with custom UI (Colour OS 3.2) on the top.
These specifications are something similar to that of the Vivo V7+, which offers a similar set of specifications, which is priced at INR 22,000 in India. Finally, the only unknown fact about this device is the pricing. If the company can price their device aggressively this could be the coolest smartphone in India in the mid-tier segment.
