The best part about the Oppo F5 is the display. The device offers a massive 6.0-inch IPS LCD panel with new 18:9 aspect ratio screen, protected by 2.5D Curved glass on the front. The bezels on the Oppo F5 are narrower and are on par with the other premium flagship smartphones. The display offers a premium FHD+ resolution making it one of the best display in the market.

The smartphone is powered from the MediaTek manufactured MT6763T silicon chip, paired with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB). In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G LTE and VoLte capability with support for dual-band WiFi and WiFi Hotspot.

The most elaborate feature about the Oppo F5 is the selfie camera. The device offers a 20 MP front-facing selfie camera which offers tricks and tips like Bokeh mode, 200 positioning spots that enable accurate photo accuracy using the Artificial intelligence built on to the device. For the main camera, the device offers a 16 MP rear-facing camera with PDAF and  1080p video recording capability.

So, coming to the less talked features about this device are the software. The Oppo F5 runs on Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box, with custom UI on the top. The company hasn’t specified anything regarding the future software updates, so, take it as a no from our side.

Finally, the big 6.0-inch display and every other internals are powered by a non-user replaceable 3200 mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging capability. Considering the miniature battery and a mammoth 6.0-inch display we can expect a maximum battery usage of one complete day with less than 4 hours of screen on time on a single charge.
