With respect to design and build quality, the device offers a full metal unibody solution with a plastic top and bottom antenna bands for the network reception. Like always, there is nothing new about the design and we don’t have anything to complain about design either. So, this is a good looking phone, but not so good looking were we can appreciate it. At least for the first few days, the device will be available at an additional discount of ₹2,500. So, at the ₹6,490, this might be one of the best smartphones in the market.

Considering the price to feature ratio, the device does not offer great value for money but, the competition has a lot better to offer. So, let’s look at the actual tech specifications of the Panasonic Eluga I5. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 Octa-core SoC, paired with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

Looking at the camera capability, the device offers a 13 MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording capability and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera. In terms of connectivity, the device offers a dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots, so, you won’t be having any problem using the Jio SIM in the secondary SIM slot.
