Razer has officially launched their first flagship smartphone AKA the Razer Phone. The Razer Phone offers the best smartphone display till date with up to 120 Hz refresh rate. As a matter of fact, the display used on the Galaxy Note 8 maxes out at 60 Hz. The Razer Phone is priced at $700 (INR 45,000) and offers following features.

In terms of design, the device is inspired from the Nextbit Robin (same engineers have designed). However, unlike the Nextbit Robin, the device offers full metal unibody design with a rectangular form factor making it one of kind smartphone in terms of design. The device will be available in US, UK, and Europe from the last week of November. One can get this smartphone via Dedicated Razer stores as well as the Microsoft stores.

The Razer Phone features a 5.72-inch QHD IGZO LCD Ultra motion display with wide colour gamut and 129 Hz refresh rate (which is on par with the latest 2nd generation iPad Pro). Under the hood, the device is powered by top of the tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 2 TB).

To enhance the overall gaming experience, the device offers dual front-facing stereo speakers with THX certified DOC. In terms of camera capability, the device offers a dual 12 MP camera setup with 4K video recording capability with portrait mode. On the front, the device offers a F/2.0 aperture 8 MP front-facing selfie camera with 1080p video recording capability.

In terms of connectivity, the device offers a GSM and CDMA version with 4G LTE and VoLte capability out of the box. This is the first flagship smartphone to house a massive 4000 mAh battery, which also supports Qualcomm Quick charge 4+ capability.

This smartphone is rightly priced for the price tag. However, there are no details on the availability in India or China. One has to wait for few more months to get this device in these markets.
