Reliance has added JioNews on JioFiber. JioNews provides you 350 e-papers and over 800 magazines.
JioFiber is Jio’s own set-top box service. You get access to all the Jio premium content like JioTv JioMusic, JioCinema, JioSaavn, etc. Now along with all the entertainment Jio has decided to add some news and magazines.
The JioNews will contain videos and picture galleries of the latest news from e-papers and magazines. You can even customize the feed by filtering what kind of news you wish to see.
The JioNews digital platform also supports voice command to search for news.
Jio Fiber has additional plans if you wish to increase your budget. In the various additional packs, you can get access to OTT’s like Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, and much more. Their plans vary from 8.3k per annum to over 1 lakh per annum.
Jio Fiber isn’t in much buzz like the other Jio services. Maybe because people have not realized its true value yet. Or maybe the pricing is high compared to companies that provide a set-top box service. Jio is planning to launch some cheap plans to increase its popularity and people know its true power.
For now, only the addition of JioNews is the thing that they are concerned with.
