Samsung, the second biggest silicon company in the world is all set to launch their next generation Exynos 9810 premium flagship processor, which will power the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy Note 9 in some markets.

This processor will directly take on the Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 845 Mobile solution, which is expected to be manufactured based on the new energy efficient 7 nm architecture and new high power GPU. So, the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphones will also feature Snapdragon 845 and the Exynos 9810 SoC.

To talk more about this chipset, this is the second mobile processor to use the 10 nm FinFET process with little big architecture (consisting of 4 energy efficient cores and 4 high power full cores) paired with the custom GPU engineered by Samsung. In terms of connectivity, the processor is expected feature 6CA (carrier aggregation) to replace the 5CA on the Exynos 8895 Octa-core SoC, which powered the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and the Note 8.

The processor is expected to outperform the present Exynos 8895 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. As a matter of fact, this specific chipset is also expected to feature machine learning, neuron engine, and the dedicated cores specified for the augmented reality, just like the Apple’s A11 bionic chipset.

Even with the camera capability, this processor might be the second mobile chipset to feature 4K video recording capability up to 60 frames per second and slow motion 1080p videos up to 240 frames per second. The processor is also expected to offer next generation fast charging with wireless charging and Bluetooth 5.0 capability as well.

The thing about the Exynos chipset is, they are only found on the Samsung smartphones, so, to only way to experience this smartphone would be to get the next generation flagship smartphone. Finally, Samsung is all set to take on Apple’s A11 bionic SoC, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, and the Kirin 970 SoC.
