Samsung is all set to launch their most anticipated premium mid-tier Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018), which is expected to bring the premium features like infinity display with full glass construction (just like the Galaxy S8). The device was spotted on the HTML5 testing website with a code name SM-A530F.

The device offers a new 18.5:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED display, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass from Corning Gorilla Glass on the top. The display is expected to feature an FHD+ resolution 2160 x 1080 pixels, making it in part with the other premium smartphones. However, there is no clarity on the screen size (most probably to offer either 5.7 or 5.8-inch edge to edge display).

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) is expected to be powered by Exynos 7885 Octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB). In terms of connectivity, the device offers a dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability with support for dual-band WiFi and WiFi Hotspot with Bluetooth version 4.2 capability.

With respect to the camera, the device is expected to feature a single 12 MP sensor with F/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation. The camera is also expected to offer 4K video recording capability up to 30 FPS and 1080p video recording capability up to 60 FPS. For the selfie enthusiasts, the device is expected to feature a 5 MP selfie shooter with the same F/1.7 aperture and 1080p video recording capability.

In terms of operating system, the device offers Android Nougat with Samsung UX on the top with a promised Android Oreo update in the near future. So, one can expect a much intuitive user interface with a faster Android security update.

Coming to the pricing, as non of the Samsung smartphones come cheap, the device is expected to be priced in between $400 to $500. So, you have to spend a fortune to get this new smartphone from Korean smartphone giant.
