Samsung is all set to launch a premium mid-range Android smartphone Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). The most interesting fact about this device is that the device features a massive 6 GB RAM and the following tech specifications.

In terms of design and aesthetics, this will be the first A-series smartphone to have all glass unibody solution, with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner below the camera unit. The device is expected to feature an almost bezel-less display with a 1080p Super AMOLED display with all new 18:9 cinematic aspect ratio screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass on the top.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is expected to be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7885 Octa-core SoC, paired with 6 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB).

With respect to the camera capability, the device offers a single lens camera on the back, so, one can expect the company to use the same sensor which is used in the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. For the selfie enthusiasts, one can expect to see an 8 MP selfie shooter with wide angle lens for the wider selfies.

This will the first A-series device to feature Bixby button, which is Samsung’s own Artificial Intelligence. This device is expected to be either IP67 or IP68 certified for the water and dust resistance. One can also expect to see USB type C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack as well.

Coming to the operating system, the device is expected to run on a custom version of Android Oreo 8.0 with features like dual apps, multi-windows and enhanced gaming experience. Coming to the battery, the device is expected to offer at least 3000 mAh Li-ion battery (non-user replaceable) with fast charging capability.

Coming to the pricing, the device is expected to be priced at $500 (INR 25,000). So, it will be another midrange from Samsung with powerful design and hardware.
