Samsung is all set to launch a new smartphone in the United States of America. However, this time it is a mid-tier or entry-level smartphone rather than the flagship smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime was earlier spotted on GFXBench, revealing the complete tech specifications of the device.
As per the design and aesthetics, the smartphone offers premium full metal unibody design with a premium finish. So, at least in terms of looks, the device will be in line with the other mid-tier Android smartphones (many options to choose). So, without further ado, lets looks at the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime.
To begin with the display, the smartphone is equipped with a 720p 4.8-inch screen, which will be protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. However, we don’t have information regarding the display technology, as the company is known to use both TFT and Super AMOLED panels on their smartphones. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by in-house Samsung Exynos 7570 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB).
in terms of connectivity, the smartphone is likely to offer either dual or single SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots. Other connectivity features like dual channel WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, and Bluetooth are also expected.
Moving on to the camera capability, the smartphone is equipped with a 13 MP main camera with 1080p video recording capability and an 8 MP selfie camera with 720p video recording capability. As Samsung smartphones are known for their camera capability, this device is also expected offer best-in-class camera capability. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.1.2 with custom Samsung UXI on the top. The device might also receive Android Oreo update in the future.
Finally, coming to the battery the device is likely to offer at least 3000 mAh Li-ion capability with normal charging capability. Considering the other technical specifications, the device is likely to last at least for a single day of usage without any trouble what so ever.
