Samsung’s upcoming premium flagship Android-based smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S9 or the Samsung Galaxy S9+ has been spotted on the internet. The device was briefly listed on the famous benchmarking platform GFXBench, with its complete set of performance details single core and multi-core performance and here are the details regarding the same.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ are expected to be launched in the Mobile world conference, which will be held in the month of February every year. The smartphone that was listed on the GFXBench comes with a model number SM-G960F with, which is an Exynos version of the model. So, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon model as. The Exynos model will feature a new Exynos 9810 Octa-core Mobile Solution, built on the 10 nm FinFET architecture, and the Qualcomm variant will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-core SoC, paired with at least 4 GB or 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB).

According to the official listing on the device has scored 2680 on the single core performance and 7787 points on the multi-core performance. If we compared these scores with the Apple’s premium flagship smartphone, AKA, the Apple iPhone X, then, these scores are nowhere in line with those scores of the Apple iPhone X, which scores up to 4198 points on the single core performance and 10056 points on the multi-core performance.

As synthetic benchmarks have nothing to do with the actual performance, it’s easy to say that, the device might still offer a lot of horsepower under the hood with the improved performance over the present flagship models.
