Samsung India launches the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2017 for the price tag of INR 17,999. The device will be available exclusively on Samsung India official website and Samsung official stores from 12th October. Those who purchase the device within 30 days of the launch, the users can get a one-time screen replacement for just INR 999 and the tablet case of the device is available for just INR 2,499.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2017 offers a full metal unibody solution available in Gold and Black colour paint job. Here is the complete set of tech specifications for the same. This is the first tablet available in India, which offers dedicated Bixby button, which is Samsung’s own virtual assistance which can be used to tasks like setting alarm, doing online searches and other tasks with just using voice as the input.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2017 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quad-core SoC, paired with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB). The device also supports single nano SIM with 4G LTE and VoLte capability with complete cellular features. As per the display is concerned, the device is equipped with an 8-inch HD 1280*800 WXGA TFT screen, protected by a flat tempered glass with scratch resistance features.
In terms of camera capability, the device is equipped with an 8 MP rear-facing camera with F/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording capability. Due to a larger aperture, the device will also perform well in low lightening condition as well. In terms of front-facing selfie camera, the device features a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera with 720p video recording capability which also supports video calls and conferences.
Coming to the connectivity, the device offers dual-band WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz) bands along with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. Finally, the device also supports navigation features like GPS, Baidu, and GLONASS, so, this tablet can also be used as a navigation device when you are travelling.
Finally, if you are looking for a standard tablet with the vibrant display as well as the flagship class camera.
