After launching smart touch projector last week, now the company launches a new Ai powered Smart Dog, which doesn’t shit or wake u up in the mid-night. However, instead of pedigree, it survives on Amps. So, here are the complete details on the Sony Aibo robot dog.
The Sony says that:
“can form an emotional bond with members of the household while providing them with love, affection, and the joy of nurturing and raising a companion.”
The smart dog is available for pre-order in Japan, which costs 198,000 Yen or $1,700 dollars (including of all taxes). As a matter of fact, this is the first cloud powered smart Dog with all smart functionality, which can do many tasks as described below.
Functions of Sony Aibo robot:
Just like most of the Android robots, this can be used to do tasks like taking a photo and other dog tricks by downloading from the cloud. This smart dog also uses deep learning to analyse the sound and images, which later re-categorises them according to their categories. It houses ultra-compact actuators with that enables the body of the dog to move in 26 different axes. The two eyes house a tiny OLED panel to showcase different emotions. The battery can last up to 2 hours of play time which can be fully charged in 3 hours.
Though many people call it a useless toy, if you are a tech-enthusiasts then this toy will surprise you with its tricks for sure. However, the only problem is, the availability is restricted to Japan, so, if you are planning a trip, then Japan looks all good to buy your next smart pet as well.
