Sony’s highest selling hardware is non-other than the PlayStation. Sony announces a new accessory for the Indian market, named Sony PlayStation VR. This is the second edition of the PlayStation VR, which offers an improved build quality, new design as well as the powerful camera.

Here is the complete set of features offered by the upgraded version of PlayStation VR.

The original iteration of the PlayStation VR was priced at INR 41,990m considering that, at INR 37,990 this is a great deal. The new iteration features a model number CUH-ZVR2 with all new design and quality plastic used for overall construction. The newer design incorporates the stereo design inside the body, making it more uniform design.

Here is the official press statement from the Sony Incorporation Japan.

“A hardware update to PlayStation VR is being prepared. The new version, model number CUH-ZVR2, features an updated design that enables the stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the VR headset and a slimmer, streamlined connection cable. There’s also an updated Processor Unit that supports HDR pass through, enabling users to enjoy HDR-compatible PS4 content on a TV without having to disconnect the Processor Unit in between the TV and the PS4 system. This function can be used only when the VR headset is turned off,”

There are majorly 3 VR headsets in the market, one from Facebook (Oculus Rift), HTC Vive and lastly the Sony PlayStation VR. Considering the fact that, both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift requires a high-end PC to enjoy seamless VR experience. As a matter of fact, the other two VR gears are priced on the higher side compared to the PlayStation VR. So, if you have a PlayStation 4 or higher version, then PlayStation VR is a must have accessories, to enjoy the next generation gaming titles.
