Swipe India launches a new premium Android powered 10.0-inch tablet in India for INR INR 8,499 only, making it the cheapest tablet with 10.0-inch display in the market. The Swipe Slate Pro will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 28th October 2017.
Though it has an all-plastic body, the device looks fantastic, and in fact, this one looks like a clone made from iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab S.
In terms of build quality and design aesthetics, the device looks premium on par with the competition. The dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability are like the cherry on the top. The Swipe Slate Pro is powered by an unknown quad-core SoC, paired with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 64 GB).
In terms of camera capabilities, the device offers a 5 MP rear-facing camera with a dedicated flash unit and a 2 MP secondary selfie camera for the video calling and selfies. Everything onboard is powered by a massive 5000 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability via micro USB port with a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone jack as well. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow with a stock user interface. The retail package also includes a USB OTG cable, which should ease out the users to watch multimedia via external pen drive or hard disk.
As this tablet has an underrated processor, so, this will not be a good device for gamers. However, if you are insisting on a multimedia-oriented tablet with the ability to make calls, use data and watch a lot of content, then at this price tag Swipe Slate Pro is a steal deal. In fact, the device offers the best of both worlds (affordability and connectivity).
