Tik Tok has reached 2 billion downloads worldwide on the App store as well as Google play. This seems to be an alarm for Facebook and its apps. In India alone Tik-Tok there are 611 million downloads of Tik-Tok app or about 30.3 percent of all unique installs. India is the top country to have such huge downloads and china is the second country for installs with 196.6 million downloads to date.
The US stands at third position for the number of downloads of the Tik-Tok app with 165 million installs. This figure does not include the downloads from third-party Android stores in the country.
The app store has generated 495.2 million downloads or 24.5 percent. Google Play has generated the highest number of Tik Tok downloads with 1.5 billion installs, or 75.5 percent of the total. The lifetime user spending in Tik-Tok has risen to $456.7 million which is more than 2.5 times the $175 million the app had generated when it reached 1.5 billion downloads.
A few months ago, it had surpassed 1.5 billion downloads. In Q1 2020, the app has generated a large number of downloads more than any other app. Also, it has got 315 million installs across the App Store and Google Play.
Due to this COVID-19 outbreak lockdown has announced in many countries. So, people are using mobiles more than usual. That’s why communication apps and social media apps are seeing a rise in the number of users.
