The speculations and renders for the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 are skyrocketing. According to recent leaks,  Apple iPhone will feature a mammoth 512 GB of onboard storage. Yes, you heard it right. Last year Apple introduced 256 GB of onboard storage on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7+, now due to an increase in the demand of the storage needs, Apple is going to offer 512 GB option for those who need the same.

Last year, Apple even ditched 16 GB onboard storage on their smartphone, now their smartphones start with 32 GB onboard storage. In the upcoming iPhone 8, Apple will only offer three storage options 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.

The storage modules will be outsourced from different OEM’s. The 64 GB and 256 GB will be procured from the Toshiba or Sandisk and the 512 GB module will be either from the Samsung or Hynix. And the least bothered thing about any Apple iPhone is RAM, according to recent leaks the upcoming iPhone 8 will feature 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM on all the storage options. Considering the fact that, the iPhone 7 and 7+ came with 2 GB RAM, additional 1 GB extra RAM is going to add up to the additional performance of the smartphone, as the device is speculated to feature Augmented reality and real-time 3D rendering.

Coming to the pricing, here where apple is showing its cheap tricks. Previously, the price difference from the one storage model to another was near $50, however, now the memory is offered in such a way that, the price difference per model will be at least $150 (INR 15,000). In India, the entry level iPhone 8 with 64 GB storage is expected to be priced at least INR 90,000 and might go up to 1,10,000 for the higher storage variant.
